Snoop Dogg is grieving the loss of a cherished member of his family — his beloved French bulldog, Juelz.
The rapper, 53, shared the heartbreaking news on Instagram, revealing that the pup, who had been by his side for a decade, had passed away.
“Rip @juelzbroadus 😢,” Snoop wrote in his first post on Wednesday, June 11, 2025.
He also took a moment to thank his close friend and longtime collaborator Wiz Khalifa for gifting him the dog nearly 10 years ago. “Thank wiz for giving him to me 🌹🕊️,” he added.
According to TMZ, Wiz Khalifa surprised Snoop with Juelz for his 43rd birthday in 2014.
The rapper’s tribute included a touching video of Juelz sitting in the front seat of his car, accompanied by the mellow strains of Weldon Irvine’s classic “Morning Sunrise.”

A follow-up post featured a slideshow montage of photos chronicling Juelz’s life, with appearances alongside Snoop’s family members, friends, and the rapper himself. The video was set to the emotional hit “See You Again” by Wiz Khalifa and Charlie Puth — a poignant choice, given Wiz’s special connection to the pup.
“Miss my dogg @juelzbroadus,” Snoop captioned the second post, as fans and fellow celebrities filled the comments with messages of sympathy and support.
The slideshow included everything from adorable snaps of Juelz as a tiny puppy to playful pictures of him posing with stacks of $100 bills, lounging next to Darth Vader, and flashing side-eye in classic Frenchie style.

Juelz even had his own Instagram account, amassing over 51,000 followers, where fans got regular glimpses of his pampered life as Snoop’s loyal companion and “guard dogg.”
Snoop Dogg’s affection for dogs goes far beyond Juelz. The Doggystyle legend has long been known as a canine enthusiast.
In 2021, he co-hosted the Puppy Bowl with his friend Martha Stewart, bringing his trademark laid-back charm to the feel-good event.
A year later, he launched Snoop Doggie Doggs, a line of pet accessories, clothes, and toys — perfectly tailored for pampered pooches everywhere.
That same year, he made headlines in Australia by cleverly promoting his Cali Rosé alcohol brand through a series of dog-friendly billboards placed in parks around Sydney and Melbourne, ensuring both humans and their furry friends felt welcome.
