Kenyan businessman Simon Kabu and his daughter Maureen Kabu made a bold statement at the fourth edition of the Ngemi Festival in Naivasha, arriving in spectacular fashion aboard a sleek white luxury helicopter. The aircraft, adorned in the branding of Maureen’s company, Adequate Safaris, became the centerpiece of attention at the two-day cultural celebration.
Simon, the CEO of Bonfire Adventures, and Maureen, the Managing Director of Adequate Safaris, were met with loud cheers and excitement from revellers as their chopper landed. The surprise flight was Maureen’s thoughtful gesture for her father, celebrating their shared success in the travel and tours industry.
The duo embraced the cultural spirit of the festival, donning elegant traditional Kikuyu attire, with Simon standing out in a ceremonial elder’s headgear.
