A young model who was recently photographed with President William Ruto’s son, George Ruto, in Bali, Indonesia, has spoken out after facing a wave of online bullying and speculation.
In a statement shared on her Instagram account, the model clarified that the photo—which quickly went viral—was entirely innocent and not indicative of any romantic involvement with George.
“Alexender and I recently met George randomly here in Bali. Him being the President’s son, I asked for a picture. George was very kind, humble and simple guy who wears Crocs… I AM NOT DATING EITHER OF THESE GENTLEMEN!” she says.
She went on to explain the personal significance of the moment, noting that her journey from humble beginnings to being in Bali and meeting the President’s son was deeply meaningful to her.
Instead of celebration, however, the photo became a source of intense cyberbullying.
“I was bullied for taking a picture with George. I felt rejected and resented by my own people… It cost me mentally, emotionally, and even financially because I am doing therapy which isn’t cheap,” she says.
Responding to critics who took jabs at her looks, she offered a bold and unapologetic reply.
“My forehead, bones and small neck make me look stunning! I respect all your opinions about my appearance, but I’m dead gorgeous with a very nice a$$ btw!” she says.
