Kenyan rapper and internet darling Stevo Simple Boy has once again made headlines — and this time, it’s for a joyful reason. The Mihadarati hitmaker has announced that his wife Brenda is three months pregnant, with the baby expected to arrive around August or September 2025.
Stevo revealed the news in a recent interview with @2mbili, delighting fans who’ve followed his eventful romantic journey over the years.

But as with everything in Stevo’s world, this new chapter comes with its own backstory of drama, heartbreak, and public twists.
Before Brenda, Stevo was romantically linked to Pritty Vishy, a social media influencer. Their relationship captured attention due to its highs and lows, with Stevo famously maintaining a no-intimacy-before-marriage stance — a decision Pritty later claimed contributed to their fallout.
The pair parted ways in 2022, and Pritty publicly admitted to cheating during their relationship, citing that she “wasn’t attracted” to the rapper.

Shortly after his breakup with Pritty Vishy, Stevo found love again with Grace Akinyi. He introduced her to the public during his father’s funeral in early 2023, presenting her as his wife.
However, by December 2023, their relationship crumbled when Stevo accused Grace of infidelity. According to the rapper, they had been living apart after his father’s passing, and Grace returned home already pregnant — allegedly by another man.
In response, Grace denied ever cheating on Stevo and insisted that the child was his. She also revealed in a recent online session that she was raising the child alone, accusing Stevo of neglect and urging him to take responsibility.

Grace further shared that during their time together, Stevo was plagued by suspicions about her loyalty, which strained their relationship even more.
The scandal hit Stevo hard. He admitted to slipping into depression after the breakup and disclosed in interviews that he wasn’t in a rush to settle down again, even pushing the idea of marriage to 2027.
In a recent quickfire interview with Mpasho’s Kalondu, Stevo opened up about his rocky relationship history. He admitted that if there was one thing he wished he’d learned earlier in life, it was the danger of rushing into relationships without truly knowing his partners.
“My biggest lesson in matters of relationships so far is being patient and waiting for the right person, although I’m yet to find one,” he shared.
Despite his earlier claims of staying single, Stevo surprised fans when he introduced Brenda as his new girlfriend — and soon after, as his wife — in early 2025. The announcement came shortly after a highly publicized fallout with his manager, Geoffrey Machabe.
In an interview with Sarah Mtalii, Brenda claimed she had to step in and fight for Stevo’s rights, accusing Machabe of serious mismanagement. “I am fighting for Stevo to get his rights. It is like his current management is frustrating him. The guy is not good for Stevo,” she said.
Brenda alleged that Stevo would perform shows worth KSh 80,000 and come home without a shilling, unaware of where the money had gone.
Machabe, however, denied the claims, dismissing Brenda’s accusations as a ploy to gain fame through Stevo’s platform.
