Former NTV journalist Smrianded a new role months after her departure from Nation Media Group.
In a video announcement, Smriti revealed that she has joined The Nature Conservancy (TNC), a global conservation organization, as the Executive Communications Officer for Africa.
“I’m turning the mic and lens to nature. I’m excited to announce that I’ve joined The Nature Conservancy (TNC), a global conservation organization whose mission is to conserve the lands and waters on which all life depends,” she said in the announcement.
Smriti expressed her enthusiasm about the new chapter in her career, saying, “TNC offers a powerful platform for change, and as TNC’s executive communications officer for Africa, I can’t wait to tell our stories as we conserve our precious landscapes and oceans for people and nature.”
The Nature Conservancy is a leading global environmental nonprofit headquartered in Arlington, Virginia, in the United States.
It works across more than 70 countries and territories to protect ecologically important lands and waters for both biodiversity and human well-being.
