Content creator Milly Chebby is counting her blessings after a harrowing health scare that took an unexpected turn during what was meant to be a relaxing holiday in Mombasa.
Milly, who is married to comedian Terence Creative, recently shared the emotional rollercoaster she faced when she was rushed into emergency surgery after suffering intense, unbearable abdominal pain.
What began as what she assumed were severe cramps turned out to be something far more dangerous.
Milly revealed that she had been on contraceptives at the time, which made the positive pregnancy test results even more shocking.
However, the joy was short-lived when doctors diagnosed her with an ectopic pregnancy—a life-threatening condition where a fertilized egg implants outside the uterus, typically in a fallopian tube.
“It took me like an hour, and everything turned around. When I took the test, he did not even know. The internal bleeding was so bad. I gave him the kit, and he was excited. I was looking at him and thinking, I wish he knew,” she shared.
She added that Terence had been genuinely excited while she was silently panicking.
“You were excited for real. The bleeding had started three days before. I thought it was normal cramps.”

The situation escalated quickly, with doctors warning of the dangerous internal bleeding and the urgent need for surgery. As a result, Milly’s damaged left fallopian tube was removed to save her life.
Throughout the ordeal, her husband Terence remained by her side, offering unwavering support.
While sharing her appreciation, Milly also shared touching videos of her husband comforting her, including a clip where he gently held her head as she lay in pain. She praised him publicly, calling him a caring family man who knew how to show up when it mattered most.

After her recovery, Milly has now turned to social media to express her gratitude—not just to her husband and family, but also to her devoted followers, especially on TikTok.
The outpouring of support was massive, with over 1,900 messages and more than 60,000 likes on a single video where she thanked fans for their prayers and kind words.
“TikTok family, I see the love. Thank you all for the quick recovery messages and comments,” Milly wrote, visibly moved by the overwhelming response.
In another emotional Instagram post on May 8, she reiterated her appreciation, calling the ordeal one of the hardest and most emotional moments of her life.
What is an Ectopic Pregnancy?
An ectopic pregnancy occurs when a fertilized egg implants and grows outside of the uterus, most commonly in the fallopian tube. This is a serious condition that requires prompt medical attention as it can lead to life-threatening internal bleeding if the fallopian tube ruptures.
Normally, a fertilized egg travels down the fallopian tube and implants in the uterine lining (womb). In an ectopic pregnancy, this implantation happens outside of the uterus.

The fallopian tubes are the most common location for ectopic pregnancies. However, it can also occur in the cervix, ovary, abdomen, or even in the scar of a prior cesarean section (C-section).
As the pregnancy grows outside of the uterus, it can cause the fallopian tube to rupture, leading to severe internal bleeding. This can be life-threatening if not treated quickly. Symptoms of an ectopic pregnancy can include lower abdominal pain, typically on one side, vaginal bleeding, and shoulder tip pain.
Ectopic pregnancies cannot be saved and require medical treatment, which may include medication or surgery to remove the pregnancy and repair any damage to the fallopian tube.
While an ectopic pregnancy can lead to the loss of a fallopian tube, most women can still conceive and have a successful pregnancy in the future.
