Singer Cassie Ventura, who is set to be the government’s lead witness in ex-boyfriend Sean “Diddy” Combs’ upcoming federal trial, was spotted in New York City on Wednesday, May 7.
Cassie, 38, currently pregnant with her third child, appeared calm as she stepped out in a light grey sheer sweatshirt and white linen pants outside a friend’s brownstone apartment.
The Me & U hitmaker has been married to personal trainer Alex Fine for six years. The couple, who began their relationship in late 2018 after her split from Diddy, married in August 2019 and are now raising two daughters, Frankie and Sunny, with a third child on the way.

As Diddy’s federal trial prepares to kick off with opening statements on May 12, Cassie — identified in court documents as Victim 1 — is expected to testify about her alleged experiences during her on-and-off relationship with the music mogul from 2007 to 2018.
Diddy faces serious federal charges, including sex trafficking and racketeering.
Last year, Cassie broke her silence after a previously unseen hotel surveillance video surfaced, showing Diddy physically assaulting her at the InterContinental Hotel in Los Angeles in March 2016.
The disturbing footage, made public by CNN in May 2024, showed Diddy chasing, attacking, and attempting to drag her back to a hotel room — a scene that closely matched claims Cassie made in a lawsuit filed in November 2023.
At the time, Cassie expressed gratitude for the support she received following the video’s release.
“The outpouring of love has created a place for my younger self to settle and feel safe now, but this is only the beginning,” she shared on Instagram.
“Domestic Violence is THE issue. It broke me down to someone I never thought I would become. With a lot of hard work, I am better today, but I will always be recovering from my past.”
Diddy, who initially denied the allegations and dismissed her lawsuit as “baseless and outrageous,” later issued a public apology after the video went viral, describing his actions as “inexcusable” and admitting he was at “rock bottom.”
Diddy eventually settled Cassie’s lawsuit but the total amount in the suit was never shared.
