Kenyan businessman Jimal Rohosafi recently drew attention online after posting a birthday message to Rwandan model and social media influencer Munezero Rosine, popularly known as Bijou Dabijou.
The message, shared on his Instagram account on May 6, 2025, featured a video of Dabijou accompanied by the caption, “Happy birthday, bestie.”
Bijou, also took to her Instagram stories where she shared a series of short videos showing that she is currently in Nairobi, Kenya.
In the clips, she was seen touring the city alongside an unknown man, who many believe could be Jimal. In one video, the man can be heard chatting with boda boda riders, telling them it was Bijou’s birthday. The cheerful riders went on to sing her a birthday song.

The post prompted varied reactions from followers, with some interpreting it as a simple birthday greeting while others speculated about the nature of the pair’s relationship.
Munezero Rosine is a well-known figure in East Africa’s entertainment scene, recognised for her modelling work, social media presence, and appearances in music videos.
The timing of the post led to speculation on the nature of relationship with Wangari Thiongo, whom he often refers to as his wife.
However, not many will be surprised since when it comes to relationships, Jimal is also no stranger to controversy. His high-profile marriage to Amira ended in a public and messy separation involving exchange of words and accusations of alcoholism.

Following Jimal’s birthday message to Dabijou, Wangari shared an Instagram Story, though its content and context in relation to Jimal’s post remain unconfirmed.
“Looking for a good therapist, for a friend 😂😂,” Wangari shared.
Jimal Rohosafi has frequently been in the public eye regarding matters of his personal life, having been previously linked to various public figures.
As of now, neither Jimal, Dabijou, nor Wangari have issued official statements addressing the online speculation.
