Tanzanian singer Harmonize is back in the headlines for trying to win over his ex-girlfriend Kajala two years after the couple broke up.
The Konde Boy boss shared a photo of a brand-new Land Rover Defender on Instagram with a custom license plate reading ‘Kajala 3’, hoping to grab her attention.
Fans couldn’t help but also notice that the luxury SUV came complete with a customized plate reading ‘Kajala 3’ — not ‘Kajala 1’ or ‘Kajala 2’, but 3.
Earlier this month, in an interview with Simulizi na Sauti, the star hinted at his lingering affection and plans to surprise his former flame.
“I have immense respect for Kajala, and by God’s grace, I will do something special for her that will leave a lifelong memory. It doesn’t matter if she’s married or not — she will understand when the time comes,” he declared.
A Love Story with More Twists than a Soap Opera
For those new to this saga, Harmonize and Kajala’s relationship has been a rollercoaster since it kicked off in early 2021. From public displays of affection and matching tattoos to messy scandals and social media blockings, the duo has done it all.
Their first breakup came with a shocking scandal — allegations of Harmonize developing an inappropriate interest in Kajala’s daughter, Paula.
While they managed to patch things up in May 2022 (complete with Harmonize reportedly getting unblocked on Kajala’s social media), the relationship remained rocky.
However, in December 2023, Kajala called it quits once more.
After releasing his track ‘Single Again’, Harmonize revealed that infidelity was to blame for their split. According to him, Kajala had been unfaithful — an accusation that added more drama to their already complicated narrative.
Kajala: “Maybe It Was Just Routine”
Kajala, on her part, has been candid about why she ended the relationship. In a radio interview, she admitted, “I don’t even know what to say. Maybe it was just routine. When someone gets too used to you, they start taking you for granted.”
She further suggested that their constant togetherness might have suffocated the relationship.
“Honestly, I don’t blame him because he is younger. Maybe he needed space. We were always together — waking up, going to the gym, doing everything as a unit. Maybe he just needed time to do his own things.”
Before dating Kajala, Harmonize was married to Sarah Michelloti, but the two eventually divorced.
Harmonize was born in 1994 and that would make him 31 years old. Frida on her part was born in 1982 and that makes her 43 years of age.
