Nick Cannon, the 44-year-old American television host and father of 12, has revealed that he insured his testicles for a staggering $10 million . Cannon made the surprising disclosure during a recent appearance on the Tea Time with Raven and Miranda podcast, sharing details about what began as a lighthearted idea and turned into a serious policy.
“It started off like, ‘Yo, this would be a good joke,’ but we really went through with it,” Cannon explained, according to People.
Cannon, who is also the host of The Masked Singer, first made the announcement in a 2024 commercial for grooming brand Dr Squatch. He described how the idea came about through his collaboration with the company, which specializes in men’s personal care products.
“Dr. Squatch, who is like, they’re known for like manscaping and all that stuff,” Cannon said of the brand. “They were like, ‘Yo, a lot of celebrity women are insuring their legs in case something goes wrong.'”
When asked what he considered his most valuable asset, Cannon responded without hesitation: “My balls!” He added, “I got the insurance policy in my office. It’s legit,” emphasizing that the coverage amounts to $5 million per testicle. “If I happen to lose one, all the money goes to my kids,” he said.
Cannon, a father of 12, has become known as much for his prolific parenting as for his entertainment career. When asked whether he’s finished expanding his family, he offered a candid response: “I love the baby stage. Baby to toddler. So fun. Because 3 year olds, those are the three-nagers. They think they know everything.”
