TikTok star and influencer Sheryl Gabriella is setting the record straight after being dragged into the drama surrounding comedian David Oyando, popularly known as Mulamwah, and his now ex-fiancée and baby mama, Ruth K.
In a video shared on her Instagram Stories on Monday, April 14, Sheryl dismissed claims that she had anything to do with the couple’s recent split. Responding with a touch of sass, she wrote:
“Me seeing people abusing me for stealing Mulamwah when my real man is a 30+-year-old tycoon who doesn’t show his face on social media and has 1k followers.”
The statement comes amid growing speculation online, especially as fans have noticed Mulamwah and Sheryl frequently appearing together in recent weeks—collaborating on content and attending public events side by side.
Fueling the chatter further, Mulamwah confirmed his breakup with Ruth K just a few days earlier, posting on April 10:
“Yes, it’s true we have decided to part ways with R.K. It was nice while it lasted.”
The announcement came shortly after fans observed that the couple had unfollowed each other on social media—a telltale sign that something was amiss.
The split was unexpected, especially given that the two had only just gotten engaged in February. At the time, Ruth K shared a sweet video showing off her engagement ring amid a sea of roses, captioned: “I said yes.”
Mulamwah had also posted a photo of the ring, writing, “Cute fingers like hers deserve rings,” along with heart emojis.
However, not everyone is buying the breakup. Some fans suspect it may be a publicity stunt ahead of an upcoming show the pair is reportedly working on.
