Comedian and radio personality Jimmie Kajim, real name James Muiri, just raised the bar on birthday gifts. To mark his son Alpha Jake’s third birthday, the beloved entertainer didn’t go the toy route—he went straight for legacy.

In an Instagram post shared on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, Kajim revealed he had gifted his son a life-changing present: a Ksh1 million deposit into a fixed-income investment account opened in his name.
“This year, I gave it a lot of thought,” Kajim wrote. “What could I give my son that would still speak long after I’m gone?”
His answer? A financial head start that could blossom into something big. According to Kajim, if all goes according to plan, that single million-shilling deposit could grow to more than Ksh40 million by the time Alpha turns 23.
“I do not want him to start from scratch, the way I did,” he shared. “That money won’t buy him character or wisdom. That’s still my job. But it will give him time. Options. Peace of mind.”
Kajim, known for his witty humor on-air and his infectious energy on stage, made it clear that the investment is more than just a financial move—it’s a message.
“It says, ‘Even before you understood what the future meant, your father was thinking about it for you,’” he added.
Fans flooded the post with praise, calling the gesture not only thoughtful but inspirational—proof that love isn’t always measured in toys and cake, but in the dreams you plant for your children.
