Popular TikToker Rish Kamunge is once again making headlines after using her platform to promote new job opportunities abroad, even as she faces an ongoing court case over alleged fraud.

Kamunge, who has a large following on TikTok, recently posted a video advertising job openings in Qatar, specifically for security officer positions. She encouraged both men and women to apply, stating that interviews would be held the following week and that the salary on offer is 1,600 Qatari Riyals.

Applicants were instructed to present a certificate of good conduct and a curriculum vitae (CV). She also noted that commissions would only be paid after a visa is issued, which she claimed was part of her effort to maintain transparency.

Rish Kamunge is currently facing criminal charges related to her job placement agency, with allegations that she defrauded multiple Kenyans of large sums of money through promises of overseas employment.

Despite the legal cloud hanging over her, the social media personality appeared unfazed, even going as far as to share her contact number for inquiries and expanding her services to include visa assistance to countries such as Canada, Germany, and other Schengen states.

Critics have raised concerns over the continued promotion of such opportunities amid a pending court case, while others remain hopeful that the vacancies are legitimate.
