It seems Betty Kyallo’s boyfriend, Charlie Jones, has become the most wanted man—but only in the virtual streets of Grand Theft Auto!
Taking to his Instagram stories, Jones shared a chilling (yet hilarious) message from an anonymous sender that simply read: “You are next.”
But before you start calling the authorities, let’s put things into perspective—this wasn’t a real-life threat, but a good ol’ GTA bounty.
For the uninitiated, in GTA Online, players can place bounties on each other, turning them into walking paychecks for trigger-happy gamers. If the bounty-hunted player survives for about 48 real-time minutes, they get to pocket the cash. If not—well, it’s game over (literally).
Charlie, clearly unfazed by the online hit, clapped back in the best way possible: “Who got a GTA bounty on my name?” A smooth response for someone who’s just been virtually “marked for elimination.”
The mystery sender, identified only by a suspicious-looking email handle ([email protected]—seriously, who comes up with these?), had no profile picture, adding to the cryptic vibe.
Of course, this entire saga is nothing more than some GTA mischief, but that didn’t stop fans from having a good laugh. One thing’s for sure—Charlie Jones might want to lay low in Los Santos for a while. That bounty money could be tempting!
