CCTV footage has surfaced capturing the final moments before KBC journalist Fredrik Parsayo jumped to his death from a rented flat in Kinoo.
Reports indicate that the young journalist had been struggling with depression, reportedly triggered by salary delays and a failed marriage. His wife is said to have left him after he encountered financial difficulties, further deepening his distress.
Before his tragic demise, Parsayo had also turned to alcohol, battling personal struggles that ultimately overwhelmed him.
In the video footage circulating on social media, Parsayo is seen peeping out of his house through his door before stepping out of his house.
He then leans over the balcony, sees something (which probably scared him), and then instead of going back to his house, he runs up the stairs. Several frames of the CCTV cameras capture him going all the way up to the roof.
It is still not yet known what he was running away from.
KBC confirmed his passing on Friday, stating that investigations are underway to establish the full circumstances surrounding his death.
