Nyandarua Senator John Methu has seemingly given in to public pressure and shaved off his signature shaggy hair after facing weeks of relentless criticism on social media.
The youthful senator, known for his casual and often unkempt hairstyle, took to his official Facebook page to announce the change, posting a short Swahili statement: “Nyi si wazuri by the way. Imebidi.”
Methu’s hair had become a hot topic among netizens, with many arguing that it was untidy and not befitting a public official.
