Pornhub recently released its 11th annual Year in Review Insights report, providing a detailed look at viewing habits, search trends, and demographic preferences for 2024.
The report includes infographics and statistics analyzing searches based on gender, sexual orientation, and regional preferences, as well as data on the time people spend on the platform and global traffic rankings.
Among the key highlights, Angela White, Abella Danger, Violet Myers, Lana Rhoades, and Eva Elfie were the most searched porn stars of the year.
In the United States, the most popular search terms included hentai, latina, MILF, Asian, ebony, and lesbian.
Globally, the United States remained the top country by traffic, followed by the Philippines, France, Mexico, and the United Kingdom.
One of the biggest trends of 2024 was the rise of demure porn, which saw a 133% increase in searches.
Terms related to mindfulness, such as mindful pleasure and mindful JOI, also experienced significant growth, rising by 112% and 87%, respectively.
Interest in modesty-related content surged, with searches for modesty increasing by 77% and modest MILF by 45%.
The world’s fastest-growing category was bukkake, which saw a 125% rise in popularity. Other trending themes included The Secret Lives of Pornhub Wives, Coworker Crushes, and Going for Gold.
The report also highlighted generational differences in viewing habits.
Boomers were found to be 36% more likely than any other generation to search for strap-on content.
Meanwhile, Gen Z users showed a preference for non-pornographic searches, frequently looking up terms like music, safe for work, and gaming, suggesting an interest in content beyond traditional adult material.
