Nairobi police are investigating a shocking incident in which a man was allegedly thrown from the fourth floor of Nature House on Moi Avenue after a dispute over unpaid services with a suspected sex worker.
Preliminary reports indicate that the man had checked into a room on Tuesday with a woman believed to be a commercial sex worker.
However, an altercation broke out, culminating in the tragic event. Following the incident, the woman reportedly fled the scene.
Detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) arrived to collect evidence and piece together the circumstances surrounding the case.
Authorities have also instructed the guesthouse management to suspend new admissions as crime scene reconstruction continues.
So far, no identification documents have been recovered from the deceased, whose body has been moved to the city mortuary as investigations continue.
