Kenyan actress and comedian Jacky Vike, popularly known as Awinja, has revealed why she never dated Radio 47 host Alex Mwakideu.
During an interview on Radio 47, Mwakideu lightheartedly brought up his past attempt to pursue Awinja, saying, “Nilikukatia, ukanikataa.” (I shot my shot at you, but you rejected me.)
Awinja, however, was quick to clarify, stating, “I would have accepted you immediately—I did not turn him down. He never really made his intentions clear; it was like he wanted me to guess! You can’t just take me out, buy me lunch, and assume I’ll know you want to date me.”
Mwakideu is now happily married to Mariam Mwemba, and the couple, who have been together for ten years, share three daughters.
