Internet personality Elsa Majimbo who is well-known for her candid remarks on social media once again made headlines after her recent comments about money and broke people.
In a recent video, Majimbo stated that people without money should refrain from speaking up when others are contributing.
“Money talks, wealth whispers, and broke people should shut up. You have no business contributing to something you have never experienced,” she said.
She also referenced Nicki Minaj, stating,
“Broke people should never laugh,” she added while making reference to Nicki Minaj and further advised, “You have way more to worry about.”
Earlier this year, Majimbo claimed that her wealth was so substantial that she was investigated for fraud after a shopping spree, which resulted in her bank accounts being temporarily frozen.
“I’m just so rich people literally can’t believe it, and they need to confirm it’s real,” she said in a TikTok video.
She explained that she was asked to provide documents to verify her identity and confirm she wasn’t engaging in any fraudulent activity.
“Fraudulent activity? I am just rich. Are you joking?” she said.
This isn’t the first time the internet sensation has stirred controversy online.
Elsa previously mentioned that she moved from Kenya because Kenyans criticized her online for discussing her lifestyle. She unapologetically claimed that South Africans and Americans are more subtle compared to Kenyans who she termed bullies.
