After a noteworthy tenure at the Kimathi Street-based NTV news station, celebrated anchor Olive Burrows has officially called it quits.

Looking back on her time at the Nation Media Group, she expressed gratitude for the many great opportunities and friendships cultivated during her six-year journey.

You guys have been working to see me cry today, I will wait for it to start raining (laughs) then I’ll blame it on the sound,” Olive shared.

I love you guys. It has been an absolute privilege working here at the Nation Media Group for the last six years,” she expressed her heartfelt appreciation.

Before her stint at NTV, Olive Burrows served as a news anchor at Capital FM.

Sources familiar with her plans suggest that Olive will be making a transition to Citizen TV, purportedly stepping into the shoes vacated by Victoria Rubadiri, who recently departed to join CNN.

Meanwhile, Victoria Rubadiri has already made her debut in her new role at CNN’s Connected Africa show.
