Celebrated hypeman MC Gogo, recently opened up about the challenges he faces as a young and attractive entertainer in Kenya, particularly in an industry whose fan base is dominated by women.

This popularity often leads to various situations, including offers of intimacy and money from women.

Gogo noted that there have been instances where even older women approached him with ulterior motives.

The 23-year-old entertainer, while speaking to Mungai Eve on Tuesday, May 14, confessed that women frequently seek him out for reasons beyond his professional entertainment services.

Unajua watu wameiva hii town, na ni mbaya it’s too much. They want to steal you, they want to go with you,” he said.

Hii Nairobi ni mbaya, but sometimes wanaamua tu wakusumbue. Mtu anaweza kukutempt akiwa kwa audience, social media ni ‘Hae, Hi, Handsome.'”

He described the situation as challenging since he always has to be on guard. He added that he is also very cautious about sharing his contact information, fearing it might end up in the wrong hands.

Gogo went ahead to share an example of a woman who approached him under the guise of booking his emcee services but had other intentions.

“I sent them my manager’s number. I don’t know how she got my number. But my manager doesn’t give out my number. She told me she wanted to book me. Unadhani hio booking ilikuwa ukweli?” he recounted.

She wanted to book me for other purposes. Heh, she lied to me, but it’s fine, nawapenda bado,” he concluded.
