Socialite Vera Sidika recently opened up to her fans about her newfound love revealing what she loves about her Nigerian man.
In an interview with Kalondu Musyimi, Sidika confirmed that she is indeed dating but emphasized that she’s not fully committed to the relationship.
“For me, I don’t want anything commitment at the moment. I just wanna have a fan – I’m seeing someone but I won’t say I’m in a serious relationship,” the mother of two explained.
She elaborated on her stance, likening her relationship status to being “50/50 one leg in, one leg out,” indicating her partial engagement.
Sidika further added that her partner is fully aware of her reservations towards commitment. “I don’t want them to be committed and I don’t want a commitment,” she reiterated.
Notably, her new lover is from Nigeria, prompting her to humorously note, “You know how they say once you go black you never go back, it’s like once you go Nigerian you never go back!”
The socialite went ahead to describe what she loves about her new man stressing the assertiveness and confidence of Nigerian men.
“Nigerian men love women with a big behind…Nigerian men are very masculine and not scared of anybody, not scared of telling you when you are wrong and I need that,” she added.
Recently, Vera was forced to address criticism from a section of her fans during an Instagram Q&A session regarding her previous relationship with Brown Mauzo.
During the Q&A, Sidika dismissed claims from the fans that she never loved Mauzo and only dated him as she wanted good genes from a handsome man.
“Lmaooo, If it’s good genes, even the sperm bank has it,” Vera sarcastically retorted.
She further firmly stated that there is no chance ever of reconciliation with Mauzo, the father of her two children.
