Eminem’s daughter Hailie Jade Scott married her long-term partner Evan McClintock in a “beautiful” ceremony over the weekend, attended by Dr. Dre and 50 Cent.
Hailie, frequently mentioned in Eminem’s songs—over two dozen times—has been a central figure in his music, most notably as the sole subject of the hit song “Mockingbird.”
Fans also know her as the inspiration behind one of Eminem’s prominent tattoos, a picture of her face as a child on his upper arm.
“Waking up a wife this week,” Hailie wrote in a post featuring images from the celebration.
“We couldn’t have asked for a better, more beautiful weekend celebration. So so many happy tears were shed, laughs & smiles were had, & so much love was felt,” she added.
“Evan and I are feeling so grateful for all of the family & friends that travelled to support us and be a part of this new chapter of our lives as husband & wife.”
The ceremony, reportedly held at Greencrest Manor in Battle Creek, Michigan, appears to have been a modest-sized event.
Among the attendees were 50 Cent, Dr. Dre, and former Beats Electronics CEO Jimmy Iovine. Eminem and Hailie are said to have shared a special dance to mark the occasion.
Hailie and McClintock met while studying at Michigan State University in 2016, where she studied psychology and he read economics.
Hailie has since become an influencer and hosts the podcast Just A Little Shady, while her new husband works as an enterprise growth executive.
The couple got engaged in February last year, with Hailie announcing the news through pictures of the proposal and a caption reading “casual weekend rap… I love you” accompanied by a crying face emoji, heart, and ring.
