Willis Raburu’s wife, Ivy Namu, has opened up about her journey into motherhood, giving a shoutout to Raburu for having her back.
“Things are going alright. We’re past the baby stage and into toddler territory. It’s no walk in the park, but I’m glad we’re here and growing every day. I’m enjoying it, taking it one step at a time. Having some me time and Raburu’s support is really helping me be there for my kids,” Namu shared.
Namu admitted that having her second baby put a dent in her career, but she respects women who juggle motherhood and work.
“It’s never easy to balance everything. Something’s gotta give. For me, it was putting my career on hold. But it’s okay, my family comes first,” she confessed.
She gave a big shoutout to Raburu for creating a supportive environment that allowed her to focus on being a good mom.
“He’s an amazing guy and dad. It’s inspiring to watch him,” Namu gushed.
At first, Namu wasn’t too keen on being a stay-at-home mom, but she eventually embraced it.
“I felt a bit uneasy about it at first, but then I thought, why should I be ashamed of spending time with my kids? It’s a privilege,” she explained.
Namu also praised Raburu for stepping up in parenting, especially when she was pregnant and after giving birth.
“He took care of everything because I was clueless,” she admitted.
Calling Raburu her best friend, Namu revealed that she always gets his opinion on her outfit choices.
“He’s definitely my bestie. I always run my outfit plans by him. We’re a good team,” she said.
The lovebirds first crossed paths in 2019 when Namu appeared on Raburu’s “10 Over 10” show. Their friendship then blossomed into a fiery romance leading to their union and later, two kids.
Namu is a talented musician and content creator who topped Ugandan charts before moving to Kenya. Her parents are Ugandan and Kenyan.
Namu has also been a key part of Raburu’s music career and business ventures.
