Reverend Lucy Natasha recently tackled a topic that’s been on the minds of many: why she and her husband, Prophet Carmel, haven’t had children yet, despite being married for two years.

In an interview with Oga Obinna on April 16, Reverend Natasha finally shared her perspective on the matter.

The preacher and founder of Empowerment Christian Church firmly believes that children are a precious gift from God. She further added that she entrusts in God’s perfect timing for all things.

Reverend Natasha stressed that the decision to have children ultimately rests in God’s hands. She remains hopeful and prayerful that one day, they too will be graced with children.

While eagerly awaiting the blessing of children, Natasha said that she takes great joy in witnessing her younger sister, Shifra, relishing motherhood with her two children.

Expressing her aspirations for the future, she mentioned her desire to have two children. She added that she will be thankful to God for whatever gender He blesses her with for her children.

The love story of Reverend Lucy Natasha and Prophet Carmel blossomed after they connected on social media.

“I felt we connected. Our dreams, purpose, and vision were in sync. He allowed me to be myself, not a reverend or a pastor,” she said of Carmel.

Prophet Stanley Carmel, an Indian preacher, later proposed to Natasha at a church event, to which she joyously accepted.

Their union was officially sealed in a traditional ceremony in January 2022. The wedding festivities were filled with jubilation and attended by cherished ones, including notable figures in Kenya.
