Lupita Nyong’o dazzled on the red carpet on Thursday night during the CinemaCon Big Screen Achievement Awards held at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.
The Oscar-winning actress, aged 41, stunned in a glamorous gold gown that accentuated her flawless figure, featuring a sultry low back and delicate spaghetti straps. Completing her look with jeweled drop earrings and a chic gold manicure, Lupita epitomized Hollywood glamour at the star-studded event.
The highlight of the evening was Lupita being honored as this year’s Star of the Year award recipient, joining the ranks of previous winners like Zendaya and Kevin Hart.
Taking to the stage to accept her accolade, Lupita graciously thanked the audience before posing for photos alongside her co-star Joseph Quinn, who nabbed the Breakthrough Performer of the Year award for their film “A Quiet Place: Day One.”
The latest installment in John Krasinski’s “A Quiet Place” franchise, “A Quiet Place: Day One” serves as a prequel to the 2018 hit.
Lupita and Joseph attended Paramount’s presentation at CinemaCon, where an extended trailer for the film was unveiled. Originally slated for a March release, the movie will now hit theaters on June 28 due to delays caused by industry strikes.
In addition to her live-action work, Lupita also offered a sneak peek at her upcoming animated film “The Wild Robot” during CinemaCon. Joined by director Chris Sanders and Dreamworks Animation President Margie Cohn, Lupita discussed her role as the lead character in the adaptation of Peter Brown’s book. The film follows Roz, a robot stranded on an uninhabited island, and is set to be released in September.
Despite her busy schedule in front of cameras, Lupita has also been spotted enjoying downtime with her new beau Joshua Jackson, following his split from ex-wife Jodie Turner-Smith last year.

Jodie recently opened up about their divorce, emphasizing the importance of prioritizing one’s own well-being and family happiness.
