Megan Thee Stallion, real name Megan Pete, has been sued by a former employee who alleges she withheld payment and created an “abusive work environment”, including having sex with a woman next to him in a moving car.

Cameraman Emilio Garcia, who began working full-time with Megan in 2019, recounted an uncomfortable encounter during a trip to Ibiza where Megan engaged in sex with a woman inside the moving SUV they were traveling in together.

I felt uncomfortable. I was kind of frozen, and I was shocked at kind of just the overall audacity to do this right beside me,” Garcia said.

Garcia’s lawyer responded by stating: “Emilio should never have been put in a position of having to be in the vehicle with her while she had sex with another woman. ‘Inappropriate’ is putting it lightly. Exposing this behaviour to employees is definitely illegal.”

Garcia claims that the Grammy-winning rapper subjected him to “severe” and “pervasive” harassment following the sex-in-the-car incident, including sexual remarks, insults about his weight, and a decrease in earnings.

The cameraman further alleges that Megan subsequently changed his payment structure, reducing his bookings and started treating him unfavorably.

Megan is also accused of subjecting Garcia to derogatory remarks about his weight and eating habits, causing him emotional distress and unspecified physical injuries.

According to Garcia, Megan bodyshamed him and called him a “fat bitch”. She is alleged to have also told him “spit your food out … you don’t need to be eating!

The rapper is also alleged to have forbidden Garcia from seeking employment elsewhere.

In his lawsuit, Garcia is now seeking payment of his unpaid wages, interest charges, damages, and wage penalties under California labor laws.

In response to the allegations, Megan’s lawyer stated, “This is an employment claim for money – with no sexual harassment claim filed and with salacious accusations to attempt to embarrass her. We will deal with this in court.”

Megan Thee Stallion, known for hits like “Savage” featuring Beyoncé and “Hiss,” has enjoyed significant success in the music industry since her breakthrough in 2019.

However, her career has been marked by controversies, including a legal dispute with her former label, 1501 Entertainment, and being shot in the foot in 2020 by rapper Tory Lanez, who was later sentenced to 10 years in prison for the incident.
