The Real Housewives of Nairobi” is back for the highly anticipated Season 2.

The second season of the reality series is set for an exclusive premiere on Showmax on May 10th.

The new season follows the tremendous success of Season 1, which shattered streaming records upon its release in February 2023 and secured a spot in the top 10 most-watched shows on Showmax in Kenya for the year.

According to producers of the show, the upcoming season promises to be even more captivating.

Recently, the show clinched the prestigious title of Best TV Show at the Kalasha Awards 2024, further cementing its status as a fan favorite.

Minne Kariuki

Returning for Season 2 are familiar faces, including the talented actress and entrepreneur Minne Kariuki.

Minne Kariuki is a renowned businesswoman, TV host & an actress popularly known as the queen of shades!

The accomplished actress and entrepreneur, is happily married to her long time boyfriend and Jaguar’s former manage Charles Muigai, popularly known as Lugz Kenya. The two are proud parents to two children.

Vera Sidika

Another returnee to the new season is the ever dynamic Vera Sidika, who is eager to reintroduce herself to viewers.

Sidika is a Kenyan socialite whose mention brings to mind nothing else except her voluptuous figure.

She rose to fame in 2012 when she was featured as the video girl in P-Unit’s single “You Guy”. In 2014, she alsoappeared in CMB Prezzo’s hit single, “My Gal”. In November 2015, she appeared as a video vixen in a video by Nigerian musicians KCSkiibii and Harrysong titled “Ebaeno”.

The veetok founder has two kids – daughter Asia Brown, and son Ice Brown – whom she shares with Brown Mauzo, her ex.

Dr. Catherine Masitsa

Joining them is the esteemed business mogul and tastemaker, Dr. Catherine Masitsa, adding her own flair to the mix.

Masitsa is a qualified veterinary doctor, but is most well-known for her wedding planning business, Samantha’s Bridal.

She joined the show as the no-nonsense Queen Mother. The animal doctor is passionate about shedding light on what she refers to as the prime-time woman, the woman aged 45 to 70 and represents that target market.

Farah Esmail

The drama escalates with the introduction of new cast members, including the formidable lawyer and professional bodybuilder, Farah Esmail.

At 50 years old, Farah not only owns the renowned F45 training studio in Lavington but also brings a wealth of corporate law and governance experience to the table.

Zena Nyambu

Zena Nyambu is a 41-year-old beauty entrepreneur and mother of two.

Zena who joins the cast in season 2 will be bringing her expertise in skincare and wellness to the forefront. As the owner of multiple successful businesses, including Glamsquad Kenya and Art Infinity, Zena will add depth and sophistication to the group.

Reja Keji Ladu

Rounding out the new additions is the elegant Reja Keji Ladu, whose international background and entrepreneurial spirit sets her apart from the rest of the housewives.

As the wife of the Minister of Cabinet Affairs of South Sudan, Reja splits her time between Nairobi and Juba, bringing a unique perspective to the show.
