Popular Kenyan musician Willy Paul was arrested by police at his home in Syokimau shortly after expressing concerns about alleged police intentions to harm him.

Footage making rounds on social media showed the artist being escorted away from his house in a police vehicle.

The ‘sitolia’ star lives at Syotani Villas in Syokimau estate.

In a sequence of social media updates before his arrest, Willy Paul had unleashed a tirade of posts claiming that police wanted to arrest him for no reason.

Recounting a similar encounter from 2023, Willy Paul urged his followers to hold authorities accountable in case anything happened to him.

“I’ve received word that police officers are stationed outside my home at Syotani Villas, alleging that I was involved in a hit-and-run incident and fled the scene. They intend to harm me!!!” Willy Paul claimed.

“This is reminiscent of last year’s ordeal. If anything happens to me, know that individuals in uniform are outside my residence at this moment!!” he added.
