Tiktok star David Moya has claimed that he earned a substantial sum of Sh830,000 for a surprise performance in Dubai, marking it as his most lucrative event to date.

During an interview with Oga Obinna, Moya David shed light on the lucrative deal, stating, “The highest amount I’ve ever been paid was around Sh830,000. I can show proof if you doubt it.”

Moya explained the intricacies of the deal, sharing, “What happened was, I went to Dubai. So, when someone contacts me for an international job, it’s usually on the weekends. What happens is, if it’s a Friday, Saturday, or Sunday… He was from South Sudan. He wanted me to stay in Dubai for five days. I calculate those days because I also have many gigs here in the country. I calculate almost every day.”

Despite his demanding schedule, Moya David tailored his services to meet the client’s needs, juggling multiple surprise events on weekends within the country.

“I counted them. Four on Saturday, four on Sunday, and then I gave him the total. Because I’ll be out of the country,” he revealed.

Moya David offers comprehensive packages to his clients, not just encompassing his performance fee but also additional services like videography, accommodation, and security.

The affordability of these packages varies based on the event’s location and scope. “Currently, within Nairobi, I charge Sh29,000. But that package comes with a cake and gifts as well. The gift comes from me. If you calculate, it’s not like I charged you Sh29,000. Outside Nairobi, it starts from around Sh35,000.”

The dynamic dancer highlighted optional add-ons, including having the surprise video posted on his social media platforms. “Clients within Nairobi who want the surprise video posted on my social media pages need to pay an additional Sh5,000,” he said.

For clients outside Nairobi, costs range from approximately Sh80,000 to Sh90,000. International clients are expected to allocate a more substantial budget, with fees ranging from $3,500 (Ksh 499,625) to $5,000 (Ksh 713,750).

Moya David rose to fame during the Covid-19 pandemic and stands as one of the celebrities who gained prominence through TikTok.
