Australian actress and producer Rebel Wilson recently made headlines by revealing that she lost her virginity at the age of 35.

Wilson, known for her comedic roles, shared this personal detail during an interview on Wednesday. She expressed her belief that sharing her story could have a positive impact on young girls.

The revelation coincides with the upcoming release of her memoir, titled “Rebel Rising,” scheduled for April 2. Wilson, who gained prominence through roles in shows like the SBS comedy series “Pizza” and the sketch comedy show “The Wedge,” graduated from the Australian Theatre for Young People in 2003.

In discussing her late blooming sexuality, Wilson acknowledged that if she were younger, her experiences might have been different. She reflected on societal norms regarding sexuality, stating, “I just knew I was attracted to men, and that was the normal thing.” However, she later discovered feelings for women, highlighting the evolution of societal attitudes.

Despite her unconventional journey, Wilson now embraces her role as a wife and mother. She emphasized the importance of waiting until one feels ready, regardless of societal expectations. Wilson announced her engagement to clothing designer Ramona Agruma in February 2023 and welcomed her daughter, Royce Lillian, via surrogate in November of the previous year.

On Instagram, Wilson expressed profound love for her daughter, describing her as a “beautiful miracle.” Her journey serves as a reminder that everyone’s path to love and fulfillment is unique and should be embraced without pressure or judgment.
